If you think that you did not get the maximum refund, that you did all of your deductions were not added or that there is an error with your tax return, this has a solution! The amendment return is a modification of your original tax return in which you can request credits and modify expenses of your original return to claim your credits.

How to determine if you are an independent employee?
- Anyone who works on their own account and receives the income in cash or check.
- Anyone who works for someone else, but at the end of the year receives a 1099-MISC form If you qualify for one of the above options, you are not exempt from filing taxes and getting a refund. It is important that you have income and expense records for the IRS to validate and thus comply with the taxpayer's rules.

ITIN Procedures

It is very important that you have an ITIN to be able to file your taxes.

At Chairez Income Tax Services we process your ITIN and your family member’s number. We take care of the application and all the process required to obtain it.

If you already have an ITIN number you must be sure that it is updated. To process your ITIN the IRS requires original documents.

The documents required for the process are a valid passport, birth certificate and application *. * The application must have a date of entry to the United States.
